Moldova is an Eastern Europe country. It is former Soviet republic & has maximum territory including forest, hills & vineyards. The country is located between Romania to the west and Ukraine to the north, east and south.
Language
Romanian is the state language used in Moldova (locally called as Moldovan) and was declared the official language of the country. Around 80% of the population uses this language for communication. This language is also the primary language used by ethnic minority groups. The languages of Russian & Ukrainian are also granted the status of official regional language in Moldova. However, English language is the medium of instruction for MBBS in Moldova yet the students are required to study the local language so as to provide as ease to communicate with the patients.
